About this Course
This one-day course provides IT support professionals and OEM System Builders with the knowledge and skills necessary to preinstall and deploy Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional on new or existing computers.
At Course Completion
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Preinstall Windows 2000 Professional and applications, and deploy Windows 2000 Professional and applications by automating the Setup program to install Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional without user intervention.
- Repackage Windows 2000 Professional and applications into a Windows Installer package.
- Configure and deploy an image of Windows 2000 Professional and applications.

Prerequisites:
- General knowledge of installing and configuring Microsoft Windows NT Workstation or Windows 2000 Professional.
- General knowledge of installing and configuring applications.
- General knowledge of networking concepts, including network operating systems, server-client relationships, and local area networks (LANs).
The course materials, lectures, and lab exercises are in English. To benefit fully from our instruction, students need an understanding of the English language and completion of the prerequisites.
